SPRAT Training and Certification Program

A Legacy of Safety and Efficiency

Since the mid-1990s SPRAT has transformed the rope access industry in North America. By replacing traditional methods like scaffolding with modern rope access techniques, we enhance efficiency and safety. Despite early challenges in acceptance due to the lack of specific standards, SPRAT now champions rigorous safety protocols. These protocols have shaped legislation in regions like California, Alberta, and New York City, regulating rope access work.

Training Aligned with Excellence

Our programs align with SPRAT’s commitment to safety and effectiveness in rope access work. Since 2001, SPRAT has certified thousands of technicians across various sectors, emphasizing the importance of formal training. SPRAT continuously promotes safe rope access through education, standards development, and robust certification processes. As a member organization, SPRAT values transparency, professionalism, and integrity. We foster an inclusive environment that respects diversity in all its forms.
