The gated ventral point on the ASTRO SIT harness allows optimal integration of equipment for rope progression, as well as a PODIUM or LITEPOD work seat.
FAST opening buckles make fastening and unfastening the leg loops quick and easy without loss of adjustment, even while wearing gloves.
Two side metal attachment points make it easy to connect your equipment, and they fold down to avoid being snagged when not in use.

Ultra-comfortable rope access seat harness

The ASTRO SIT FAST rope access seat harness features a gated ventral attachment point that allows optimal integration of equipment (such as rope clamp, lanyard, or seat). The wide, semi-rigid waistbelt and leg loops provide excellent support. They are contoured and lined with breathable foam padding for comfort while suspended. The harness also makes it easier to carry and organize work tools, with multiple equipment loops and slots for attaching CARITOOL tool holders and TOOLBAG tool pouches. This seat harness is designed to be converted into a full-body harness when combined with a TOP CROLL S or L chest harness. The ASTRO SIT FAST features leg loops with FAST LT buckles.

Description

ASTRO® SIT 

  • Ultra-comfortable construction:
    – All contact zones, including the waistbelt and leg loops, use 3D foam padding and are lined with breathable material, providing more comfort while suspended and throughout the workday
    – Textile bridge provides ease of movement at the workstation, as well as improved comfort when walking
    – Semi-rigid waistbelt and leg loops provide optimal harness fit and support
    – Metal side attachment points can be folded down to prevent them snagging accidentally when not in use
    – Elastic leg loop bands (available individually) allow the harness to maintain the right adjustment whether the user is walking or suspended
  • Efficiently integrate equipment with gated ventral point:
    – Connect the PROGRESS ADJUST or JANE lanyard directly to the pin of the attachment point without a connector
    – The TOP CROLL chest harness connects directly to the ventral point for greater efficiency and freedom of movement on rope ascents
    – Connect a PODIUM or LITEPOD work seat to the pin of the attachment point so the load is supported directly by the descender, while providing mobility at the ventral attachment point
  • Convenient adjustment system:
    – Waistbelt is equipped with DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles and anti-slip devices can be inserted (included, but not installed)
    – DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles are made of anodized aluminum and remain easy to adjust throughout the lifespan of the harness
    – Leg loops are equipped with FAST opening buckles that fasten and unfasten quickly and easily, even while wearing gloves, without needing to readjust
  • Easy to carry and organize equipment:
    – Waistbelt is equipped with two foldable, side metal attachment points for connecting a positioning lanyard in double mode
    – Seven pre-shaped equipment loops with protective sheath, two slots for CARITOOL tool holders and INTERFAST connection system, and two loops for TOOLBAG tool pouches
