Our intermediate SPRAT Level II course is tailored for experienced technicians seeking to elevate their rope access skills, focusing on speed, efficiency, and productivity. This comprehensive five-day program includes four days of intensive training followed by a one-day evaluation, all conducted under the watchful eye of certified SPRAT evaluators.
SPRAT Level II Course Overview:
Participants will master advanced techniques and theories, including:
- Effective management communication and heightened safety awareness
- Principles of mechanical advantage systems
- Techniques for setting up pull-through and load-sharing anchors
- Advanced rope system theory and analysis
- Cross hauling and rescue hauling strategies
- Techniques in aid climbing
- Advanced rescue techniques and applications
Admission Requirements:
To enroll in this course, applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years old, with proof via government-issued identification
- Not exceed a maximum body weight of 280 pounds due to equipment constraints
- Hold a SPRAT Level 1 certification with a minimum of six months’ experience
- Have completed over 500 hours of documented rope access work as a SPRAT Level 1 technician.
